The Baptists of Boston: Whence and WhitherDr. Douhan shares his knowledge of our Baptist heritage in Greater Boston. Dr. Douhan helped us understand our Baptist roots by recounting what he termed
the Baptist movement. He told us about men who had “baptist” leanings
in Austria and Germany that were contemporaries of Martin Luther. He talked
about the Anabaptists in Northwestern Europe and England in the late 16th
century. We learned about some of the first Baptists in America here in Boston. BBSU ChoirThe music tonight is provided by the Boston Baptist Social Union Choir. Participation in the choir is open to any of the members. Rehearsal will be held at 5:30 PM in the dining room before the meeting. Program
