Invocation and Hymn

Our meeting was opened with an invocation delivered by Rev. Mark A. Craig, Pastor of First Baptist, Littleton. Then we all stood as we sang the hymn, " Another Year is Dawning ".

Business

Ron Day, President of BBSU, asked members who take pictures at the meetings that would be appropriate to be placed on the website could be emailed to the webmaster@bbsu.org if you would like to share them.
Three new members were welcomed into our organization.
Bob Craig, Chairman of Christian Works Committee, challenged us to participate directly in our Christian work, by bringing a package of men's underwear or tube socks or pants to give to the Starlight Ministry in Boston, when we come to the next meeting.

Program

Tommy McGuiness shared what his father had impressed upon him before he died. Tommy McGuinness, son of American Airlines September 11^th Flight #11 co-pilot Tom McGuinness, gives an account of the close relationship he had with his father. Tommy shared how his father desired him to lead a Christ centered life. It was evident that his father left a lasting impression upon him. He fondly remembers the mornings his Dad spent with him and his sister Jennifer at Dunkin Donuts on the way to school.
McGuinness Family Cheryl spoke next of the legacy Tom had left. She challenged us as individuals to think about the legacy we were leaving those in our families. She shared some of Tom's own words from notes he had been working on, giving us insight into the kind of person he was. She shared about how God had given her the strength to go on after September 11^th and her journey to forgiveness. To learn more about Cheryl's new ministry to reach out to others click here.

Benediction

Rev.Brian Dixon, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Medford, closed the meeting with the benediction.
