About Theatrix

Theatrix is an A Capella quartet from Worcester, Massachusetts. It was formed in 2001 to perform in a production of “My Fair Lady.” They have since performed together in other theatrical productions as “Bye, Bye, Birdie” and of course “The Music Man.” they were the 2003 Patriot Division Champions of the Northeast District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Rick Munnis sings tenor. Rick has performed in multiple stage productions throughout the State, from Turtle Lane Playhouse in Newton to Foothills Theater in Worcester. Rick's fabulous tenor voice is featured in several songs that Theatrix performs.

Mark Goodney sings lead. Mark is a carpenter by trade and an accomplished set designer and builder. He performs regularly on the stage for Worcester County Light Opera and will be appearing in “Death Trap.” Mark is also the director of the Men of Song Barbershop Chorus of Worcester, MA.

Gary Swanson sings bass. Gary was raised on barbershop harmony as his father has been in the Barbershop Harmony Society since before Gary was born. He too, has performed regularly for Worcester County Light Opera, most recently as Banjo in the “The Man Who Came to Dinner.” Gary is the assistant director of Men of Song Barbershop Chorus of Worcester, MA.

Chris Harris sings baritone. chris is an accomplished vocalist singing with several groups and venues. Chris is a member of Colle Vocce, a mixed a capella group in the Worcester area. Chris also sang with Mark in the Northeast District of the Barbershop Harmony Society district champion quartet, Beginner's Luck. Chris appeared in Calliope Theatre's production of Godspel and is a regular there.
