Directions: From Route 128 take Exit 22E, Follow Route 62 East, one half mile on right.

Reservations and Guest Fees

Reservations must be submitted to BBSU Secretary Ed Hobart by October 26, 2009. The guest fee for this meeting is $30. Seating will be assigned as reservations are received. Tables seat eight people. To be seated together, reservations must be mailed together along with payment. Tickets will be waiting for you at the door.

An Evening with Kathy St. George

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

KATHY ST. GEORGE has just returned from Las Vegas, where she played the role of the Soap Star in MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL. In June she appeared in her solo show, DEAR MISS GARLAND, at the Stoneham Theatre, directed by Scott Edmiston and musical director Jim Rice.

Jim Rice is her accompanist this evening. Kathy has partnered on Broadway in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, directed by Jerome Robbins ( 1991 Tony Award for "Best Revival's"), Off-Broadway in I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, and in five national tours.

Local credits include FOLLIES and ADRIFT IN MACAO (Lyric Stage Company of Boston), RUTHLESS! and JOHNNY GUITAR (SpeakEasy Stage Company), DAS BARBECU (New repertory Theatre, "Best Actress" IRNE Award), AND NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, MISS JUDY GARLAND (Backyard Productions, 2007 "Best Solo Performance" IRNE Award), SOUTH PACIFIC (Rochester Opera House), PETE N' KEELY (Stoneham Theatre), NINE (Publick Theatre) LAUGHTER ON THE 23rd FLOOR and JAKE'S WOMEN (Merrimack Repertory Theatre) and SHEAR MADNESS (Charles Playhouse). At the Stuart Street Playhouse in Boston, she appeared in TELL ME ON SUNDAY as well as in several long-running shows including RESPECT!, MENOPAUSE, and I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT NOW CHANGE.

At the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, Kathy played the title role in PETER PAN (Best Actress Award) and also in CAROUSEL, BRIGADOON DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER, celebration and in concert Regional credits include Actor's Theatre of Louisville, Long Wharf Theatre, Barter Theatre and Kansas City Starlight. TV credits include "Spencer: For Hire","All My Children" and she voiced several characters in ABC's animated series "Science Court".

Kathy is a Stoneham native, a graduate of Salem State College, and a former second grade teacher. Upcoming performances include A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, more hot-flashing in MENOPAUSE at Palm Springs, CA in Feb/Mar 2010, and BLITHE SPIRIT at the Lyric Stage in Boston in May/June 2010.
