The Program Speaker is Fouad Faris, Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Tonight we welcome Fouad Faris who has been serving with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes since 1984, most recently in the New England Region from 1999 until August of 2012. Prior to coming to New England he was FCA Area Director of Upstate South Carolina. He has been on staff with FCA for twenty-seven years.

Of Palestinian descent, Fouad was born in Israel and immigrated to the United States in 1970 with his family. He received his BA Degree from Austin College where he was a four-year letterman in football and played on the 1981 NAIA Division II National Championship team. He received his MA in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1990.

Fouad has previously served as chapel leader for the Manchester Monarchs (AHL affialiate of the Los Angeles Kings) and the NH Fisher Cats (AA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays). He is a frequent speaker at churches, retreats, men's and youth groups, NHF chapels and high school and college campuses. He and Karen have been married twenty-five years and are the proud parents of twenty year old Daniel, a third year student (violin performance major) at Boston University, who is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London for the Fall semester. They live in Londonderry, NH and worship at the Calvary Bible Church in Derry.
