City Strings United
City Strings United Inc mission is to inspire and challenge children from underserved communities to develop leadership and life skills and a passopn for excellence throught the discipline of a music ensemble. They believe that access to high-quality music education and youth development programs create lifelong opportunities through inspiration for youth.
There is a disparity in access to such high-quality programs for many children in Greater Boston, and City Strings United aims to change that by providing programming free-of-charge. The absence of fees is not due to an assumption of inability to pay; but, rather to create a level playing field to remove this barrier for families for whom fees would be prohibitive.
Our mission is rooted in principles of social and racial justice. They believe that investment in our young people will benefit the greater community for generations to come.
