The following is a Christian Work Project sponsored in part by a grant from the Boston Baptist Social Union.

Iglesia Bautista Hispano Americana De Boston

The church together with the pastoral team believe that implementing a vision of the model of  Jesus' teaching - the objective being to teach and strengthen the spiritual life - it can help transform many lives and win many others for the Kingdom of God.  This year we will be organizing family groups on where we will be studying the Bible once a week. Our goal is to start wit 10 famiy groups in different cities of Massachusetts such as East Boston, Revere, Chelsea, and Framingham.

The family retreats and the teachings grounded on the Scriptures are the basis for our vision. We believe that the retreat will benefit the families to strengthen family ties and the ties within the church. It is our goal to bring families that do not have God in their lives. We will develop specific themes according to specific age groups (children, youth, and adults). We will have a time for fun activities to increase the communication level between families and between the church and their families.

We will be organizing a gala in when we will invite people from the community to share with us a formal dinner, music and listen to a speaker. Our goal is that throughout this event people who do not have God in their lives will recognize it and become believers in Christ.

People Served and Expected Growth

They were from Boston and surrounding neighborhoods we also had two couples from Worcester we hope to support and expand this ministry to at least 80 families.
