The following is a Christian Work Project sponsored in part by a grant from the Boston Baptist Social Union.
First Baptist Danvers has been a church for 225 years ( as of 2018 ) and 15 years ago had no children in the congregation. Crrently we have 10 - 12 regular attending from ages 5 to 15 with as many as 25 on Easter and Christmas some years. Yet, our ability to sustain current ministry and grow a youth ministry that will expand to the next level is at a critical juncture.
Our hope is to employ a youth minister who will deepen and widen the ministry o middle school and high school youth and ensure the next generation of ministry to our youth.
