Fresh Expresssions began in Great Britain and was very fruitful there, in a culture very much like ours in New England. Their emphasis is to create pathways to reaching the 40% (or more) of people who will never enter a church, no matter how inviting. Fresh Expressions describes their mission: "A fresh expression of church is a new form of church for a fast changing world that serves those outside the existing church, listens to people and enters their culture, makes discipleship a priority and intentionally forms Christian community."
