Special Performance by the New England Brass Band

The Boston Baptist Social Union is pleased to welcome back the New England Brass Band to help us celebrate Christmas with our ladies. Members are encouraged to invite their special lady (or ladies) to join them for this evening. NEBB has played for us in November 2003, November 2005, and December 2008.

The New England Brass Band (NEBB) - was founded in 1988 and incorporated in 199 as a non-profit organization. They are a 30 piece brass and percussion ensemble, adhering to the to the instrumentation of the “British Brass Band” tradition. Based in the Boston area, NEBB rehearses weekly in Wilmington, MA and draws auditioned volunteer players from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Under the direction of founding Music Director William Rollins, the NEBB established itself with performances throughout New England including concerts at Boston University's Tsai Performance Center and Crane's Castle Estate in Ipswich, MA as well as participatation in the Northeast Brass Band championships at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.
