The Boston Project continues their transformative Christian community development work, which includes strong emphasis on strengthening youth, families, and adult residents; by empowering urban communities to flourish by working together, and engaging local churches in the ministry of loving their neighbors.
the First Baptist Church of Medford's Choral Fellows and Scholars Program offers unique opportunities to budding professional and amatuer singers in the greater Boston area. Participants learn about singing technique and sacred choral music through rehearsals and private instruction. The group then educates the community by singing for services every Sunday and offering concerts and workshops throughout the year that are free to the public. Past participants have gone on to other Christian communities using the skills they gained to start choirs or take positions as directors.
