We are pleased to have Chaplain Dan Croce of New Hope Correctional Ministry. In February of 1985, Danny was sentenced to the Plymouth County Jail. He served two years. It was in that jail where Danny put his trust in Jesus. He studied the Bible under Chaplain Bob Hanson while incarcerated and was discipled by Pastor Dennis Bauder for four years after his release.
In 1991, Danny went to Wheaton College in Illinois, and received his B.A. in Bible / Theology. He was ordained in July of 1995, and in 1996 became a full time Chaplain at the new Plymouth County Correctional Facility, the same place where he had put his trust in Jesus in 1985! Ministries in the PCCF include preaching, pastoral counseling, teaching Bible study, making disciples who can minister to other inmates in their units and coordinating all religious services and Pastoral visitations. The minitry is faith funded and Danny has to raise his own support.
Danny and his wife, Kim, were married in 1989. They have five children - Melissa, Daniel, Thomas, Elizabeth, and Dara Jane. They have also adopted two handicapped men named Duane and George.
