Who We Are

The Boston Baptist Social Union is "a Christian fellowship of men, promoting love among all people." It was established in 1864, by 19th century publisher, Daniel Sharp Ford. It continues to be one of the outstanding Christian men's organizations in Massachusetts.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support worthy ministries in the Boston area. We elect a Board of Trustees to oversee our endowment funds. Our Christian Work Committee is elected to review and approve grants to Boston area ministries. We are happy to have assisted numerous Christian endeavors in the area for more than a century.

Our Goal

Our goal is to encourage worthwhile fellowship among Baptist laymen in the Boston area.

Our Organization

The Boston Baptist Social Union elects its leadership. An election is held each year at the Annual Meeting in April. Current leaders.

Membership

Members are elected into membership. They are sponsored by another member of the BBSU. Membership application can be downloaded here.
